 Process of New Shapefile Creation in QGIS

Here are the steps to create a new shapefile in QGIS:

1. Open QGIS and click on the "Create a new blank project" button.

2. In the QGIS main menu, go to Layer -> Create Layer -> New Shapefile Layer.

3. In the "New Shapefile Layer" dialog box, choose the type of geometry (point, line or polygon) for the shapefile and specify the coordinate reference system (CRS) for the layer.

4. Enter a name and location for the shapefile and click on the "Add" button.

5. In the "Fields" tab of the "New Shapefile Layer" dialog box, add the attribute fields that you want to include in the shapefile.

6. Click on the "OK" button to create the new shapefile layer.

7. The new shapefile layer will be added to the Layers panel in QGIS. Right-click on the layer and select "Open Attribute Table" to view and edit the attribute table for the new shapefile.
